OPERATIONS TO DO FOR THE CORRECT USE OF THE LEVER MACHINE FOR FAMILY
Initial Start-up
- Unscrew the top knob by turning counterclockwise
- Pour in cool water, filling to the top of the sight glass
- Seal the boiler by closing the top turning clockwise
- Turn the unit on via the power switch, a light will illuminate (Professional)
- Turn the unit on via the power switch, a light will illuminate (Europiccola)
- (For Professional) Allow the pressure gauge to reach the green area
- (For Europiccola) Wait for the green light in the power switch to turn off
- Insert the coffee handle into the group turning to the left
- Raise the lever and allow water to pass through the handle then lower the lever to stop the flow of water
- Turn the unit off via the power switch (Professional)
- Turn the unit off via the power switch (Europiccola)
- Before adding more water, remove the steam in the boiler by opening the steam knob located on the back of the unit, allow all the steam to escape
- Open the boiler via the top knob
- Empty any remaining water in the boiler
- Pour in cool water, filling to the top of the sight glass only
Preparation of espresso
- Unscrew the top knob by turning counterclockwise
- Pour in cool water, filling to the top of the sight glass only
- Seal the boiler by closing the top knob clockwise
- Insert the coffee handle into the group turning the handle to the left
- Turn the unit on via the power switch, a light will illuminate (Professional)
- Turn the unit on via the power switch, a light will illuminate (Europiccola)
- (For Professional) Allow the pressure gauge to reach the green area
- (For Europiccola) Wait for the green light in the power switch to turn off
- Open the steam knob one turn and allow steam to escape for a few seconds and then close the steam knob
- (For Professional) Allow the pressure gauge to reach the green area
- (For Europiccola) Wait for the green light in the power switch to turn off
- Raise and lower the lever a few inches 4 or 5 times to warm the group
- Remove the coffee filter handle
- Place the coffee filter basket into the handle, fill with coffee and pack the coffee down using the coffee press
- Put the filter into the filter holder, put the pod into the filter holder taking care that the filter paper doesn't extend beyond the edge of the filter    holder
- Insert the coffee handle into the group turning the handle to the left
- Raise the lever and allow coffee to pass through the handle then lower the lever to stop the flow of coffee
- Wait 10 to 15 seconds before removing the coffee handle
Tea Preparation
- Place water into a cup or container
- Place cup under steam wand immersing the wand into the water
- Open the steam knob two full turns and move the cup up and down to dispense the steam evenly until the water is hot
- Place your tea bag into the hot water and serve
Cappuccino Preparation
- Pour fresh milk into a cup or container
- Place the cup under the steam wand immersing the wand into the milk
- Open the steam knob two full turns and move the cup up and down to dispense the steam until milk is frothed
- Scoop out the foam and serve
Cappuccino Preparation using the Cappuccino Automatic attachment
- Remove the plated steam arm by lifting up and out to the right
- Insert the Cappuccino Automatic attachment by sliding onto the notched shaft and pushing down towards the front of the machine
- Place an empty cup under the aerator dispenser. Place the tube into a container of cool, (not cold) milk. Open the steam knob a full turn. Allow the    milk to dispense into the cup until full then close the steam knob
Cappuccino Preparation using the Cappuccino Automatic attachment
- Place an empty cup under the aerator dispenser. Place the tube into a container of clean water. Open the steam knob a full turn. Allow water to    dispense into the cup until the water becomes clear then close the steam knob
